November 20 is a day to commemorate transgender and gender-nonconforming people, as well as shed light on the discrimination, abuse, violence and inequality that that still exists today. However, it is also important to acknowledge and celebrate the power, courage, and resilience of the trans community, today and everyday.

Although 2020 has been one of the most difficult years we have all faced, it has put things into perspective and shed light on issues that should be of the utmost importance, like a sense community and mental health. So we’d like to focus today’s blog on Transgender Remembrance Day reminding our Models that we are community here at Pornhub, and that no one should have to go along this journey alone no matter their background or how they identify. In recent years, we’ve formed partnerships with organizations like Pineapple Support, Free Speech Coalition, and SWOP-USA to offer support and resources on mental health, safety, and social justice for sex workers. We also have our Sexual Wellness site that publishes weekly articles focused on sexual health and relationships.

Pineapple Support Society “is a free support and therapy service for all persons working in the online adult industry – no matter their gender, ethnic origin, social status, age or sexual orientation. We have an ever growing team of sex-worker friendly, kink-aware therapists who offer face-to-face and online video therapy sessions. We operate 24/7, and we raise funds to help with the costs of professional coaching, counselling and therapy for those who need it.”

Sex Workers Outreach Project-USA “is a national social justice network dedicated to the fundamental human rights of people involved in the sex trade and their communities, focusing on ending violence and stigma through education and advocacy.”

Free Speech Coalition “functions as a resource, a leader, and a tool for the communities that we serve. We take pride in fighting to alleviate the social stigma, misinformation, and discriminatory policies that affect those who work in and adjacent to the adult industry.”

And as your Pornhub Team, we are also here to support you in any way that we can. Feel free to reach out to us with any suggestions, questions, comments through Twitter @PornhubHelp or through our site.
