This week on Model Citizens, we chatted with GabyFerrer, a Pornhub Model from Colombia who caught the attention of so many fans with her solo shower clips and paragliding videos. And since joining the Model Program a year ago, she's moved her way up to our top-100 list on Modelhub. So we reached out and got to know the daredevil Model just a little more.
How did you get started in the industry and with Pornhub?
The adult industry caught my attention at a young age, so I always wanted to know how the industry works. I decided to do some research on my own and saw an ad on webcam modeling. I told my family about it and they were very supportive. So when I turned 18, I found a studio and went online for a few months on private platforms where I learned more about the industry. I ended up finding a really good studio that really spoils and supports me. They recommended I create a Pornhub account, and my manager helped me grow my page. Thanks to her, I’ve achieved many things.
How do you come up with ideas for your videos? Do you have a favorite one?
Many ideas come from my manager’s imagination. I’m not too creative, but I share my thoughts and ideas sometimes when something comes up and inspires me. My viewers also give me really good ideas. I read all their suggestions and do the ones I like best, like the video where I’m kissing the shower glass. So if you guys have something in mind, don’t hesitate to message me!
My favorite video is the one where I’m at a restaurant and my friend takes control of my lust. I love it because we never would have imagined people liking it so much.
What do you think is the biggest misconception people have about the industry?
I think the biggest misconception regarding porn is that it’s a quick and easy money-making job, and that’s not true. It’s hard to be successful, to learn, to try to make things go as smoothly as possible; there is just so much to learn! A lot goes on behind the scenes that people aren't aware of.
How do you deal with online criticism?
I handle online criticism in different ways. It gets to me sometimes, but I’ve come to realize that getting mad is just a waste of time and energy, and that's exactly what these people who criticize all the time want. Nowadays, I just simply ignore it or try and make a joke out of it. As long as I’m happy with what I’m doing, I don’t care about anyone else’s opinion.
Has your perception of the community changed since you started?
At the beginning, I thought all the Models were the same, but over time, I’ve realized that each one has their own personality and their special something that attracts viewers.
What gave you the idea to do a video while paragliding? What was it like?
So one day, my manager and I were checking out social media and we saw a mutual friend who was paragliding. The two of us watched the video and started thinking, "What can we do with this?" So that's when we decided we should do it for Pornhub. We never thought we would have so much fun doing it. It was an amazing moment! Everyone kept looking at us, asking what we were up to. The guy who was controlling my parachute was super calm, so that helped me out a lot. It was my first time ever paragliding! I was nervous at first because I wasn’t sure if I was going to be able to film it well, and I was worried my face showed how nervous I was. I was full of adrenaline and in awe when I got to see how beautiful my city is from above. I'm so thankful to the owners and workers of this place who let me film this video; not everyone is open to that kind of proposal.
What type of tech advice can you give to new Models?
You should at least make sure you have a high-quality phone that can take videos in 1080p or in 4K. If you can have a professional camera with a good microphone, then this would obviously be much better! If you have the opportunity to record with different techniques like augmented reality or virtual reality, then do it!
Also, make sure you have a good video editor so you don’t lose the video quality during editing. I use Adobe Premier Pro. And last but not least, have a good computer where you can compile your videos. It is not cheap to have good quality videos, but believe me, it’s an investment that is worth it.
How do you use the features on Modelhub and Pornhub to your advantage? How do you decide what to sell and what to post for free?
I love the fact that I can message my fans through Pornhub and Modelhub, it’s very helpful. I check my messages daily to see what they have to say and what they want to see. Platforms like Pornhub and Modelhub offer me the opportunity to be creative because of their versatile features. Make sure you enable features like Fan Club and post exclusive content for your viewers and spoil them weekly with new, eye-catching content.
What kind of advice could you give to new Models?
Don’t worry so much if you’re having a bad day and believe better ones will come. The important thing is to be dedicated and committed. When you’re not feeling 100%, it helps to have an amazing team that supports you and inspires you to be innovative which will help attract viewers’ attention.
