Remastured is an innovative project that employs the latest AI (artificial intelligence) technology to restore some of the oldest – and steamiest – erotic films ever produced. With the help of machine learning and a database of over 100,000 adult videos and images from Pornhub's library, we transformed these centennial vintage porn masterpieces for today's modern audience. Viewers are transported back in time to experience 20th century-old erotic films featuring voluptuous Victorians and silent seductors in titillating technicolor with The Remastured Film Library ; a collection of 20 scenes ranging from the 1890's to the 1940's.

SHAKEDOWN is an experimental documentary film and time-based work of art by vanguard artist Leilah Weinraub which depicts a real eutopic lesbian strip club in Los Angeles that is owned and operated by black women. The film explores race, class, currency, and identity and is an essential piece of LA history of radical queer filmmaking and contemporary video art. It premiered on Pornhub, welcoming documentary and art film viewers to enjoy Weinraub's work before its placement in an arts institution.

Maccarone Los Angeles presents ‘The Pleasure Principle,’ a pan-generational, sexually-charged exhibition of female artists whose work centers the erotic and disrupts the processes of content-cleansing that code certain images as profane, abject, or pornographic.

Through a variety of mediums, these artists unravel social constructions of pleasure, pointing to the tension between that which is felt and that which is performed – between sexuality and sexiness. ‘The Pleasure Principle’ dismantles the art/porn binary, positing arousal as a universal goal, transcending boundaries that separate the sexual from the aesthetic, the surreal from the sensible, the occult from the mainstream.
